Natural Cleaning Suggestions
FOUR THIEVES VINEGAR
3 pints unpasteurized cider vinegar
hand full of each of the following:
2 oz Angelica root
2 oz rosemary herb
2 oz horehound herb
3 g camphor
Let seap for 10-15 days then strain off mesh.
Best when done @ full moon
Essential Oils for Cleaning and Disinfecting
Put a few drops of lemon, spruce, or fir oil on a dust cloth or ten drops in a water spray bottle for cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and kitchens as well as for polishing furniture.
All citrus oils can be used for cleaning and disinfecting. Allspice, clove, lemongrass, and tea tree essential oils work great for killing virus, bacteria, fungus, and germs. For tough stains add a couple drops of essential oils to a cup of white vinegar and about 2 tablespoons of baking soda mix up well and scrub away.
These oils can also help kill larva, parasite, and most insect eggs. Just put about 15 drops of one or more essential oil in a 20 oz spray bottle of water and spray infected area.
Young Livings Essential Oils makes some good essential oil blends that are useful for cleaning.
Joy is a citrus blend that works great in laundry for a great disinfecting agent as well as a great smell, just add a couple drops to a wash cloth and through it in the washer or dryer.
Purification can be used like Joy. This blend is also great for when you get out of a pool or a shower with chlorinated water.
Melrose is a blend that can be added to dish water for anti-bacterial properties.
